Diamond Dallas Page was a recent guest on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast to discuss a variety of topics, including the time he helped AJ Styles recover from back issues when Styles joined WWE in 2016.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On being contacted by Chris Jericho to help Styles: “AJ is such a cool dude, but his back was really bad. [Chris] Jericho got in touch with me and he said, ‘[Styles is] coming in, and his back is killing him.’ I pick up a phone and go, ‘AJ, you’re 30 minutes from me, get your ass down to the [DDP Yoga] Performance Center [laughs], and he came, he did it, and he did it so much.”

On working with Styles on the program: “I said, ‘I got a room for you right on the beach for you and your wife.’ He goes, ‘Well you know D, I got kids.’ I go, ‘Yeah, I met the twins.’ He goes, ‘Actually, I got four.’ I said, ‘Bring them all.’ I said, ‘If your wife wants to come, bro, you ain’t gotta hang out with me the whole time. We’ll just get a couple little things done, and then (you) enjoy the beach with your wife.’”

Mark Henry believes Lexis King has the tools to succeed in NXT.

During a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Henry expressed his desire to see King win the men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline. King has not yet qualified for the match but will be part of the Last Chance Qualifier on next week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On King: “I love the energy that Lexis King is getting. He makes you want to see him get beat, you see the manipulation, he gets it. It’s just a matter of getting everybody to believe that you got it and that’s the one weakness I feel that he has.”

On the women’s Iron Survivor Challenge: “They’ve assembled a really, really strong network down there for the women. Shawn Michaels and Triple H have both gotta be really, really proud.”
