On Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT, Trick Williams made a reference to Ava’s family connections.

During a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, ECW legend Tommy Dreamer commented on Williams’ turn of phrase and a possible interaction between Ava and The Bloodline in the future.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On Williams’ turn of phrase: “Here’s another interesting thing that I took away from that: Trick Williams is talking, he addresses what he saw too because normally it’s all about the next segment, the next thing that’s gonna happen and they brush past it which I don’t like. (Williams) said, ‘Hey, I’m sure Ava is gonna be okay. We all know about her bloodline,’ and right then and there I was like, ‘Hmm, that was interesting to me.’”

On a possible interaction between Ava and the Bloodline: “Could you throw in another person who’s going to affect this storyline or are we gonna see Ava get called up to be involved somehow, someway with The Final Boss> I feel she’s earned it; I feel she’s an excellent on-air character … I don’t think they need it today, but I just thought it was a great line.”

Mark Henry says he’s been impressed with the improvement Ridge Holland has shown these days.

During a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer praised Holland for the increase in confidence he’s been showing in recent weeks.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On Holland’s progression: “I think the number one thing is his confidence. A lot of times in pro wrestling, if you don’t believe in you, how do you expect somebody else to? He’s found his footing. He always looked the part, but he always looked kind of like self-conscious about either how he was looking or how he was sounding.”

On how Holland has dealt with the criticism over Big E’s injury in 2022: “He’s eaten it up… The injury that Big E sustained and pointing to the fact that he injured somebody, I lived through that. For a while there it looked like [Holland] was mailing it in. ‘Maybe this ain’t for me,’ and then you see the maturation process, the whole Chase U thing, it was like he got to look at himself again for the first time and he realized how you fix things.”
