During the TKO investors call earlier today, TKO President Mark Shapiro discussed the progress WWE is making under the leadership of Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Nick Khan.
Shapiro also stated that WWE has been performing well in the demographics. He said,
“The creativity of Paul Levesque on the WWE side. That’s a tall order. He has a Friday night show [SmackDown], a Monday night show [Raw], NXT. We’re talking with other content providers on more short-form content, a bunch of deals that Nick Khan is currently working on and we’ll announce in due time.”
Triple H assumed control of WWE creative from Vince McMahon in the summer of 2022 after the 78-year-old billionaire temporarily retired from WWE owing to hush-money allegations. Khan was then appointed as co-CEO of WWE alongside Stephanie McMahon.
Following the TKO merger in September 2023, Khan was appointed as WWE President, with a seat on TKO’s board of directors.
