A motion has been filed to delay the wrongful death lawsuit against Tammy “Sunny” Sytch.
As we previously reported here on eWn, the hearing had been scheduled for October 7th. This is related to the lawsuit the family of Julian Lasseter has filed against Sytch and seeks in excess of $30,000 in damages in relation to the March 2022 accident that led to Lasseter’s passing.
Pwinsider is reporting that Sytch has an appeal pending regarding whether she has to provide certain items for discovery to the plaintiff’s. Additionally, attorneys related to the case have conflicts with other scheduled trials. Due to this, both sides are asking for the trial to be paused and rescheduled after the appeal is ruled upon.
Sytch is currently serving a 17 year sentence due to the criminal convictions related to the accident. Her public defender has appealed the sentence.
