MVP says The Hurt Business is officially dead.
With that being said, the former WWE Superstar appeared during a recent virtual signing for K&S WrestleFest to reveal that he’s talked with Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin about what is next for them. He said,
“The Hurt Business is dead and it was killed off by the powers that be. Myself, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin are talking amongst ourselves about what we want to do going forward. Stay tuned.”
The Hurt Business previously consisted of MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander. Of course, Alexander is currently signed to WWE and has been appearing on the NXT brand in recent weeks.
Orange Cassidy was a recent guest on the “What’s For Lunch with Chef Donny” podcast to discuss a variety of topics, including how he got his unique single-firework pyro entrance in AEW. He said,
“I’m very minimal. They said they were thinking about doing fireworks for me. I said, ‘that’s not really my style.’ One day, they were testing the pyro. There was a little firework. I was like, ‘Can I have that?’ ‘Yeah, we do it anyway. It’s free.’”
