During a recent appearance on the “Busted Open After Dark” podcast, WWE NXT Superstar Jaida Parker discussed her anxiety before NXT’s recent live taping at the 2300 Arena and her preparation by researching ECW before the event.
Parker defeated Lola Vice at the NXT taping.
She said, “Of course, I was nervous. You know how they say you [shit] the bed? I felt like I was going to do that. I didn’t want to sit and discredit everything the legends of ECW have built the name to be. If I’m coming into your house, which is hardcore, we all know that, and I put on a show that doesn’t reach that expectation, that falls back on me. Yes, I was nervous. Yes, I did my research on everything ECW. I had to. I had to realize what I was getting myself into. It was not just a regular hardcore match. It was ECW.”
During last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Byron Saxton interviewed Bianca Belair and Naomi, asking their thoughts on who might have attacked Jade Cargill last month.
Naomi suggested a list of potential culprits, including WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, who later addressed a fan’s comment regarding the segment about Cargill’s assailant on social media, clarifying that she was not the one who attacked Cargill.
Jax tweeted, “Pssshhh 🙄 I didn’t touch her. She probably took herself out, off on another tropical vacation somewhere.”
