New WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax has reflected on the journey that she has been on that led to her title victory at WWE SummerSlam 2024.
At WWE’s most recent pay-per-view event, Jax won her first singles title in WWE since 2018 by defeating Bayley, who had held the title since WrestleMania 40.
Speaking at the post-WWE SummerSlam 2024 media scrum, Jax spoke about what it means to be a champion again after a six-year gap. She said,
“It does mean a lot. It was pretty incredible that Tiffy came out and shared the moment with me. My mother was there, my aunt was there. So it means a lot because it’s been quite the journey for me.”
