Nick Khan has shared his thoughts on working with CM Punk in WWE.
CM Punk made his return to WWE at the 2023 Survivor Series pay-per-view event.
Upon his return, the former AEW World Champion was welcomed by a new regime led by Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Nick Khan.
In the past, Punk has mentioned that he might not have rejoined WWE if Khan had not been in charge.
During a recent appearance on the “Bill Simmons Podcast,” Khan shared his experience of working with CM Punk, noting that he realized early on that the Second City Saint wasn’t the “cancer.” He said,
“It was so obvious to me that he wasn’t a cancer. Having been an agent, assume I have dealt with some personalities that were not the easiest from time to time, as part of the job. I always found him to be a gentleman, to be honest, responsive, and I felt that if he was that way outside of the company, if given an opportunity to come back to the company, he would be that way. He said he would be, and he’s been a gem to work with.”
Punk headlined WrestleMania 41 (Night One) with CM Punk and Roman Reigns over the weekend.
