Noam Dar has returned to WWE NXT on April 22, 2025 and did so with a bang as he defeated Lexis King to win the NXT Heritage Cup for a whopping fourth time, breaking his own record.
Dar hasn’t been in televised action since defeating Dijak on April 16, 2024 after suffering a leg injury.
King was forced to defend the title tonight as a consequence of getting the trophy back from Penn & Teller, who had magically made it disappear at WWE Stand & Deliver. He had to agree to defend the cup, as well as admit magic is real.

Just prior to the match, King tried to use that as leverage to score himself a title-for-title match against Ricky Saints for the NXT North American Championship for next week. Now that he’s lost the Heritage Cup, that obviously won’t be the case, but whether he’s still somehow entitled to a North American title match next week remains to be seen.
It’s also unknown if now that Dar is champion instead of King, there may be a return to the British Rounds rules for the Heritage Cup that King had rendered obsolete.
