For WWE fans curious about the absence of RAW General Manager Adam Pearce during last week’s episode of RAW, a recent report has shed some light on his sudden disappearance from WWE TV.
Pwinsider is reporting that Pearce’s absence was planned and not surprising to those in WWE.
Pearce’s time away from the spotlight has been confirmed to be unrelated to the major staff and talent layoffs last week.
Pearce returned to his role as General Manager on Sunday, at least through social media, resuming his usual match announcements.
The report states, “The word making the rounds is that Pearce had a pre-scheduled surgical procedure and missed the TV taping due to that surgery. Pearce has not been let go from the company as part of the recent releases.”
