WWE NXT announcer Mike Rome is celebrating the birth of his first child, Salem James, who arrived into the world earlier this week.
On Facebook, Rome shared that his son arrived into the world this past Thursday and described Salem as “20 inches of awesome.”
Rome moved from SmackDown to WWE NXT earlier this year. Alicia Taylor, who had been announcing on NXT, replaced him on the blue brand.
Mike Rome recently vanished from WWE NXT, presumably to be with his wife ahead of the birth. Taylor has filled in for him on Tuesday nights.
