WWE commentator Pat McAfee has shared the sad news that his father-in-law has passed away.
McAfee shared on the most recent edition of his “The Pat McAfee Show” podcast that his father-in-law Bob had been in the hospital, but that things were looking hopeful for him.
Physicians were optimistic that Bob would be able to be discharged on Sunday, June 23, but McAfee was called on Monday by his wife that there was an emergency.
Pat added that Bob was able to share a heartfelt moment with his family before passing and encouraged viewers to reach out to their own families and loved ones.

McAfee missed this week’s episode of RAW and many fans believed it was due to an attack by The Wyatt Sicks after the group previously targeted McAfee’s show.
Michael Cole advised fans not to read too much into Pat’s absence. In his place, The Miz called the action alongside the voice of WWE.
