Triple H and Stephanie McMahon held a meeting on Friday with U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The meeting focused on planning for the upcoming President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition. Kennedy shared a photo of the trio following the meeting on social media.
The gathering comes amid a wave of controversial moves by Kennedy since taking office. In March, he described the Department of Health and Human Services as a “sprawling bureaucracy” and enacted sweeping cuts that eliminated 10,000 jobs and shuttered several agencies. Some of those programs were reinstated weeks later after being “mistakenly cut.”
More recently, Kennedy removed 17 members from the federal advisory committee on immunizations and appointed eight new members shortly after. Additionally, the Department of Homeland Security reportedly compelled CMS — an agency under Kennedy’s department — to share personal data with immigration authorities.
Stephanie McMahon’s mother, Linda McMahon, currently serves as the U.S. Secretary of Education in Donald Trump’s cabinet.
