On this week’s episode of SmackDown, Aleister Black cut his first promo since his return to WWE.

In a vignette, Black addressed similarities to his previous run, stating that he has buried his older self and discovered a deeper truth. He emphasized that he embodies the consequences of WWE, highlighting that his perspective goes beyond just good and evil.

Later during the show, Black scored his second victory by defeating Carmelo Hayes and knocking out The Miz with a Black Mass, for the third time.

Randy Orton nailed Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena with an RKO during this week’s episode of SmackDown as part of the build-up to WWE Backlash: St. Louis.

Cena delivered a promo about their history, stating that they defined the Ruthless Aggression era and that he would end Orton’s legacy in St. Louis on Saturday.

Cena referenced Orton’s failed drug tests from 2006 and insulted his grandfather before a masked individual entered the ring, attempting an RKO on Cena.

The Last Real Champion countered with an Attitude Adjustment, but The Legend Killer then appeared and clocked him with an RKO.

Coming out of this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, John Cena now has 25 appearances left on his farewell tour. He will wrestle his final match in December.

Cena is currently advertised for WWE Backlash: St. Louis (May 10), Saturday Night’s Main Event (May 24), SmackDown (May 30), and Crown Jewel: Perth (October 11).
