Riley Osborne was among the talents released by WWE last Friday.
In a recent Twitter post, Osborne revealed that he underwent surgery on March 7 to fix an injury to his ankle or foot. He wrote,
“March 7th I had surgery, have been out of action since. Pre-recordings are a magical thing. Can’t wait to get medically cleared at work…oh.”
Osborne debuted in WWE as Josh Morrell on November 7, 2018, during an episode of 205 Live.
He spent seven years in WWE’s developmental brand before being released from his NXT contract on May 2.
