A former WWE Superstar is gearing up to return to the ring and embark on the next phase of his career.

Damon Kemp (Bobby Steveson), the brother of Gable Steveson, inked a deal with WWE in August 2021. Initially part of Diamond Mine, Kemp betrayed the group and joined the No Quarter Catch Crew.

As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, while Kemp was well-regarded for his experience in the ring and received no negative feedback, WWE chose not to renew his contract.

With numerous NXT athletes on the roster and more being signed, WWE has had to make tough decisions about who to retain.

Kemp’s brother Gable was released earlier this year after reports emerged that he wasn’t meeting the standards as a professional wrestler. Kemp’s non-compete clause ended last month.

Kemp shared a photo of his wrestling attire on Twitter, teasing his return to the ring.

He wrote, “Anyone place, anywhere.”
