Cathy Kelley, well known for her work as a WWE backstage interviewer and television host, is reportedly stepping into a new role within the company — this time as an in-ring competitor.
According to a report from Pwinsider, Kelley has been training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. While she has primarily been seen as a broadcast personality, sources indicate that she’s taking her training seriously and exploring the possibility of transitioning to an in-ring career.
Kelley returned to WWE in 2022 after a brief hiatus, resuming her duties as a backstage interviewer. Since her return, she’s been featured on Monday Night RAW and has remained a prominent face in WWE programming. Now, it appears she’s looking to expand her involvement in the wrestling business.
There’s no official word yet on whether WWE plans to debut her as a competitor on television, but her training at the Performance Center suggests there may be bigger plans in the works.
