There have been some new developments surrounding Corey Graves’ role within WWE.
After expressing his frustration about being moved back to the NXT broadcast team, it was reported that Graves was expected to appear on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT. However, according to a report from Pwinsider, Graves was seen at the Orlando airport this afternoon and is reportedly leaving the city. He was seen going through the TSA check-in.
Graves had previously been part of the RAW and SmackDown commentary teams, but WWE had reportedly wanted Pat McAfee’s star power for Monday Night RAW, which led to changes in the commentary lineup. WWE had announced that Graves would be returning to NXT, but there is obviously some uncertainty surrounding his status at this time.
As of now, WWE has not provided an official statement about Graves’ current position.
