A former WWE NXT North American Champion could be on his way to the main roster despite an ongoing high-profile feud on the silver brand.
Cory Hayes of Bodyslam.net is reporting that Tony D’Angelo is being considered for a move to the main roster after over three years as part of NXT.
D’Angelo and his family lost to Darkstate at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2025 last week. During the show, Stacks turned on D’Angelo.
During this week’s episode of WWE NXT, it was implied that Stacks had had Luca Crusifino killed in the desert, prompting Tony to put Adriana Rizzo in a safe house.
