The inaugural Fanatics Fest was held at the Javits Center in New York City from August 16 to August 18 and WWE was heavily presented at the event.

Although the Fanatics Fest was largely successful, there were some hiccups, particularly for WWE.

According to a Fox News article, the most popular attraction at the convention was the opportunity for WWE fans to walk through a tunnel to the entrance music of their favorite wrestlers, a feature also available at WrestleMania Axess and other major events. Attendees also had the chance to take photos and get autographs from WWE Superstars, and these meet-and-greet sessions were sold out.

However, the high demand led to various issues. Pwinsider is reporting that there were long wait times for the autograph and photo sessions. A source described the situation as chaotic, and others labeled it a disorganized experience.

According to the report, one individual mentioned that they had pre-paid for a photo with Jade Cargill but received a refund after waiting for two hours because Cargill was removed from the signing even though there were fans waiting in line.

The problems didn’t end there. The signing session with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes also ended prematurely.

Rhodes had to leave early to attend the WWE live event in Fort Myers, Florida, where he competed in the main event against Solo Sikoa and retained his title.

And finally, there was a system failure during the session, and fans who hadn’t met Rhodes received refunds.
