WWE appears to have growing interest in UK independent wrestling stars Rhio and Man Like DeReiss.
Fightful Select is reporting that the company has reportedly shown an increased interest in both talents, with Rhio’s name previously mentioned, and now DeReiss’ name has also been discussed.
WWE has been receiving internal support for both stars, with multiple talents within the company pushing for them to be added to the roster. However, there is no confirmation yet on whether either will appear as extras during the buildup to WrestleMania or at the upcoming London tryout in March. WWE has been reaching out to various schools and promotions about extra work for the tour leading up to WrestleMania.
Rhio recently visited the NXT Performance Center, but was only there for a visit, not in any official capacity. Discussions about WWE talent signings were reportedly a hot topic backstage at PROGRESS Wrestling’s Valentine’s Day show.
