A set of UK tryouts were held as part of WWE’s European Tour earlier in 2025. Corey Brennan of Fightful Select has shared new information about what followed the tryout process.
According to the report, WWE reached out to several participants in the weeks after WrestleMania 41 and into early May. Even those not offered contracts received constructive feedback from the company, aimed at helping them improve.
It is said that the company is particularly interested in Spanish wrestler Zozaya. His performance at the tryout reportedly impressed officials, and WWE is actively working to bring him on board.
Sources close to Zozaya reveal that he’s expected to finish his university studies in June 2025. It’s also believed that any talent signed from these tryouts would likely begin training and making appearances with WWE — possibly within the NXT brand — around September 2025.
