According to a report from Pwinsider Elite, WWE NXT has shown strong interest in acquiring current TNA Wrestling star Mike Santana. The buzz around Santana has intensified following his recent guest appearances on NXT, particularly a well-received match against Trick Williams.
Sources say Santana earned “high marks” from WWE officials, who were impressed by his in-ring ability, charisma, and chemistry with WWE talent. His performance against Williams was especially praised and has reportedly sparked serious internal discussions about bringing him in on a more permanent basis.
However, any immediate plans are complicated by Santana’s current deal with TNA Wrestling, which runs through the end of 2025. Barring a release or buyout, Santana wouldn’t be eligible to join WWE or appear regularly on NXT programming until early 2026.
This interest comes shortly after Santana bid farewell to House of Glory, the independent promotion he frequently wrestled for outside of TNA. His exit from HOG has only added to speculation that a WWE run could be in his future once he fulfills his TNA contract.
