Rey Fenix has only been part of WWE for a few weeks, but he already secured his first WrestleMania match, taking on El Grande Americano in a losing effort. Fenix replaced Rey Mysterio, who picked up a groin injury on WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania.

Speaking to Covalent TV, Fenix was asked about his WrestleMania 41 experience. He said,

“It’s a dream. I’m living my dream. Only my third week in WWE. My third SmackDown. The next day, boom, WrestleMania. It’s not the way I want, Rey Mysterio getting injured, but I’m happy to be the guy who wrestled (in his place). I’m living the dream. It’s a dream come true. It’s amazing.”

Over the last few years, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter have been part of WWE’s Women’s Tag Team division, winning both the main roster and NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. They come from athletic backgrounds, as Carter comes from basketball while Chance comes from Ninja Warrior and gymnastics.

While speaking to TSC News in a new interview, Katana Chance was asked if their different backgrounds play into them getting along and being comfortable in front of the camera. She said,

“I would say so, and it’s funny because our backgrounds are so different, but when you’re an athlete, like you’re an athlete. So when you… we might not have done the same sport, but it’s it’s a similar type of work ethic that has to be put in. You have to be in the spotlight. You have to talk to people. You have to be well versed in that.

You’re not just being put in front of a camera for the first time. So I think that that definitely helped us, and I think coming from different sports and different backgrounds is actually part of what made us, has made us so strong and and so different and unique. If we had grown up and done the same thing and done the same sport, like we might have the same ideas.

We might have the same thoughts and coming from two completely different sports, coming from two completely different backgrounds, where we grew up, the way we grew up, all of that being put together. I think it really, really is why us as a team is so unique and why we’re able to show people things that they haven’t seen before.”
