A blink-and-you-miss-it vignette aired on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown (results here), teasing the debut of Rey Fenix.
Broadcasting originally before the match between Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura, this footage (shown in the tweet below) featured the luchador shrouded in silhouette and some orange-filtered lighting effects and smoke. Nothing was said and no text was put on screen, but given the nature of his expected arrival, it shouldn’t be surprising to see WWE advertising he’ll be on the roster in no time.
What would be surprising, though, is advertising this on SmackDown, which may imply he’ll be split up from his brother, PENTA, who is on the Monday Night RAW roster.
