Ricky Starks is officially in WWE now after signing his NXT contract on this week’s episode, and it was finally revealed that he will indeed be going under a new name.
After going out of their way to avoid referring to him by his name in any fashion over the past week — not even just by “Ricky” — the reveal happened at the very tail end of the contract signing segment.
At first, he was interrupted by Ethan Page, who was then attacked by Je’Von Evans. Then, it was Wes Lee who came out looking for a fight, which has been booked for next week’s episode.
Finally, after all of that was settled and Starks had put pen on paper, it was then shown that the contract read Ricky Saints, which will be his ring name going forward in WWE.
