Roman Reigns made his highly anticipated return at WWE SummerSlam 2024, targeting Solo Sikoa and helping Cody Rhodes retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.
Despite being absent from WWE television for some time and previously removed from advertisements, Reigns is now being promoted for upcoming events.
On the August 9th episode of WWE SmackDown, Reigns attacked The Bloodline and stood tall over the heel faction. However, the opposite happened on the August 16th edition of SmackDown, as Jacob Fatu returned to decimate The Original Tribal Chief.
WWE initially advertised Reigns for the debut episode of Friday Night SmackDown on the USA Network, which was scheduled for September 13 at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. However, for some unspecified reason, Reigns was later removed from the show.
On the USA Network website, Reigns is currently advertised for the September 13th edition of the Friday Night SmackDown premiere on the USA Network.
As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, WWE is planning a star-studded show for SmackDown’s return to the USA Network, so fans can expect an element of surprise, including Reigns’ return as he confronts The Bloodline.
