Regarding the WWE WrestleMania 41 card, Fightful Select is reporting that there were no creative plans for Rusev (Miro) to face Randy Orton as of the day Kevin Owens revealed his injury. If that match is added, it would have been decided in the days since.
Speaking of Rusev, he and Lana were spotted in Las Vegas earlier today as the city gears up for WrestleMania 41 weekend. Rusev’s WWE return has already been confirmed — news that was revealed by Big E during a recent media appearance. Rumors are also swirling that Lana has signed a WWE Legends contract.
Both are set to appear at Knokx Pro’s Polynesian Bash event, but Rusev’s presence is drawing particular attention following reports that he has signed a new WWE deal and could make his in-ring return at any time.
Additionally, there’s buzz that another former AEW star, Malakai Black (formerly Aleister Black), could be making his WWE comeback during tonight’s episode of SmackDown or across the two-night WrestleMania 41 spectacle.
