This week’s episode of WWE RAW featured a celebration from The New Day, as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods spoke about capturing the WWE World Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 41.
Their party was cut short by Alpha Academy — Maxxine Dupri, Otis, and Akira Tozawa — who marched down to the ring, ready to challenge the new champs.
Just as tensions were about to boil over, the arena went dark. This led to the return of Rusev (Miro in AEW).
The former United States Champion made his long-awaited return and laid waste to Otis and Tozawa, leaving Maxxine stunned at ringside.
