During a recent appearance on “The Insiders” podcast, former WWE seamstress Sandra Gray stated that Cody Rhodes has paid her more for gear than any other wrestler. She said,
“100% Cody. I already know what he needs next, and after that, and after that. I know when there is a space in between where I can chill a little bit. I look forward to that. It’s a big deal just coming up with something and getting a design. I don’t make all of his designs; I do the actual physical work. As far as coming up with the gear ideas, I don’t do all of that by myself.”
During a recent interview with Billboard, Tiffany Stratton compared her rivalry with Nia Jax to Taylor Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” She said,
“I feel like me and Nia’s rivalry- I feel like the song Bad Blood by Taylor Swift would be a really good song.” She continued, “Then me and Charlotte, I feel like, for me, I feel like the song Fighter by Christina Aguilera. Definitely the anthem of the entire story.”
And finally, during a recent appearance on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bishop Dyer (formerly Baron Corbin) shared a story about Trevor Lee (Cameron Grimes), noting that Lee got mad at him for offering him advice backstage. Dyer said,
“He got mad at me because I was like ‘What you did in NXT doesn’t matter up here, but like, your catchphrase isn’t gonna work the first night, it’s a bigger audience.’” [After Lee brushed his comments off], I was like ‘Okay, well, we’ll go out there and we’ll see what happens then?’ Like, it’s one of those things.’”
