Scott Steiner asserts that he has never received a positive result on a drug test.
The notable transformation of Steiner from his previous persona to “Big Poppa Pump” after turning on his brother Rick Steiner in WCW led to speculation about the potential use of steroids.
Steiner addressed the matter during last week’s episode of A&E Biography: WWE Legends.
The WWE Hall of Famer said, “You can make all the accusations you want. I’ve never failed a drug test. Take that information and do what you want with it. When I made the transition from Steiner Brothers to Big Poppa Pump, I wanted to get in the best shape I possibly could. A lot of strict diet. Once you are leaner, you’re naturally going to look bigger.”
Steiner’s nephew, Bron Breakker, is following in his family’s footsteps as a WWE Superstar.
