Shawn Michaels has struggled to book the women’s division in WWE NXT, though not for a lack of talent from the roster in the developmental brand.
On a recent edition of the “Good Karma Wrestling” podcast, Michaels discussed working with the crop of talent and the issues he faces. He said,
“It really is challenging as we begin to move forward here because someone’s always kind of going to get left out. I guess that’s the most challenging part is that we have so many talented women, and it’s hard to be able to highlight all of them.
“I would argue that NXT does such a good job of highlighting our talent. I mean, we have, you know, 25 to 30, sometimes even 40 talent at least ID’d on a show on any Tuesday night. But there’s still plenty of other people that are waiting in the wings to jump up and have their breakout moment.”
WWE NXT is currently home to several notable talents, including Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer and North American Champion/WWE Speed Champion Sol Ruca.
The silver brand recently lost two of its top women as Roxanne Perez has been moved to RAW while Giulia has been called-up to WWE SmackDown.
