Sheamus was previously reported to be on the verge of finalizing a new long-term deal with WWE.
On today’s episode of “The Pat McAfee Show,” Pat McAfee announced that Sheamus has formally extended his contract with WWE.
According to a report from Pwinsider, Sheamus’ new WWE deal will span five years until autumn 2029.
The 46-year-old former WWE Champion has been associated with the company since 2009.
Sheamus also competed on WWE RAW last night, where he was defeated by his former Brawling Brutes stablemate, Pete Dunne, in a singles match.
