Shelton Benjamin believes wrestling fans need to put some respect on Bayley’s name as she continues on the Road to WrestleMania.
Speaking on a recent edition of the “Black Rasslin” podcast, the former WWE Superstar commented on Bayley’s current push, her match with IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40, and more. He said,
“This is to all of social media. You need to be talking about Bayley a whole lot more. I get it. Everyone is high on The Rock and Cody finishing his story. At the same time, I saw CM Punk say it, Bayley won the Royal Rumble and all anyone is talking about is Cody’s story.”
Benjamin continued, “Give Bayley her flowers. She is one of the most underrated girls on the roster. I feel she’s underrated and underappreciated by the company, but not by the talent. We recognize what she is and she should be world champion come April.”
