Former WWE Superstar Summer Rae would love to make a return to WWE alongside Dirty Dango, possibly as part of a Royal Rumble surprise.
Rae and Dango, known as Fandango in WWE, were an on-screen duo for years and portrayed a pair of ballroom dancers.
On a recent edition of the “Knockouts and 3 Counts” podcast, Summer Rae brought up the idea of returning to WWE alongside Dango. She said,
“I’ll tell you who I’m ready to get the call for the Royal Rumble that hasn’t yet is Fandango, because Imma be right there, and we need that to come back because for me to be in the boys’ Royal Rumble and to be ringside and maybe have a spot, that’s so exciting and two, I would a trillion percent do a second round with Dango. I love Curt, he’s so great.
“[I’ve] seen him recently. He looks amazing. He’s doing really well. I think he’s engaged. Things are, you know, kayfabe [laughs] It’s great with him so, we need a little Fandango reunion because it’s over. We did one signing last year and we had a line around the corner like we were Hulk Hogan. It was crazy.”
Rae last appeared for WWE during the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match. She lasted 52 seconds before being eliminated by Natalya.
Dirty Dango was released from WWE in June 2021 alongside Breezango tag-team partner Tyler Breeze. He is currently competing for TNA Wrestling.
