It was reported yesterday that the USA Network plans to launch a new program, The Rainmaker, during the timeslot typically allocated for WWE SmackDown’s third hour.
The Rainmaker is scheduled to debut on August 15 at 10 PM EST. This implies that SmackDown will eventually revert to a two-hour format.
Pwinsider is reporting that WWE SmackDown will return to a two-hour format on July 4.
