Plenty went down on the August 9, 2024 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, but in case you missed it, there were two brief appearances worth taking note on.
The first was a quick shot of actor Lou Ferrigno in attendance for SmackDown, shouting out the original Incredible Hulk, who looks great at 72-years-old.

A few minutes later, a vignette aired for the return of Giovanni Vinci, reminiscent of his NXT gimmick when he first switched over to this name (as opposed to when he was still going by Fabian Aichner).

Vinci hasn’t been utilized since being traded over to SmackDown in the 2024 WWE Draft after being kicked out of Imperium on the April 22nd episode of Monday Night RAW. Perhaps this is a sign of an actual push for him, but even if not, it’s at least more than what he’s been up to for the past few months.
