John Cena has declared himself for the men’s Elimination Chamber match, but the WWE icon was conspicuous by his absence during the latest episode of WWE RAW.
Pwinsider is reporting that Cena missed the show as he is already back in Budapest, Hungary, where he is filming the ‘Matchbox‘ movie.
The film will take inspiration from the beloved toy franchise and will see childhood friends reunite to stop a global apocalyptic event.
The report adds that Cena is not expected to appear for WWE until the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event on March 1, in Toronto.
While Cena was able to declare himself for the Elimination Chamber match, CM Punk defeated Sami Zayn on this week’s edition of WWE RAW to earn his spot.
