The Motor City Machine Guns are your new WWE Tag Team Champions.
On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin defeated The Bloodline in the main event to capture the titles.
First, MCMG defeated #DIY in their scheduled #1 contenders match to earn a title shot. After the match came to an end, The Bloodline came down to the ringside area to confront the Motor City Machine Guns. WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis came down to the ring and got between them.
Solo Sikoa then grabbed a microphone and said he was simply there to welcome the Guns to SmackDown and offered them a title match right then and there. Aldis wasn’t a fan, and said the match should take place at a later date after the winning team had some rest. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley objected to this, which led to Aldis booking the match on the spot.
Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns got involved in the bout, as they brawled with Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Jey Uso also came out in a mask during a ref bump and got involved, taking out both champions. This led to the Guns getting the 1, 2, 3.
The Bloodline’s reign comes to an end at 85 days.
