WWE WrestleMania 41 will be held as a two-night event on Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
While WWE has already confirmed which matches will headline each night of WrestleMania 41, fans are still speculating which bouts will kick off the main card.
WrestleVotes is reporting that WWE currently plans for the first night to open with the WWE World Heavyweight Title match between GUNTHER and Jey Uso.
The second night will reportedly open with the WWE Women’s World Championship featuring IYO SKY, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley.
The report states, “As of this past Monday on RAW…..the currently penciled-in opening matches for WrestleMania are Jey Uso versus Gunther for Saturday, and the Women’s Triple Threat between Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, and Bianca Belair for Sunday. We do stress that neither of those are confirmed, as they could change on the day of. We say that because, about six years ago now, at WrestleMania 35, WrestleVotes reported pretty late in the day that the opening match was AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton. And then, you know, 15 minutes before the show – it’s been documented that it happened that late – they moved it to Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins, so things can change. However, as of now, your opening matches are Jey Uso vs. Gunther and the Women’s Triple Threat.”
