During a recent appearance on the “It Is What It Is” podcast, WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) commented on being left off this year’s WrestleMania 41 pay-per-view event.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

Montez Ford on not making it onto the WrestleMania 41 card: “I think the fans should still be happy. This gives a chance for other WWE Superstars who have never been on WrestleMania to showcase themselves. I tell them like, hey man, there’s other WWE superstars that it’s their first time doing this or anything. We’re kicking this weekend off on Friday on SmackDown with our WWE Tag Team Championships on the line in title town. Congrats to everyone that’s involved in WrestleMania this weekend, we’re definitely gonna be there to support.”

Angelo Dawkins on how you have to sometimes play your role: “I’d be lying if I said I don’t wanna ride the pine, but sometimes you’ve got to play your role, you’ve got to ride the bench sometimes. Aye, you know what? We on SmackDown, we defending the titles, we gonna do work against Motor City Machine Guns, we’re gonna beat them boys down. We gonna go out there and put on a show.”

During a recent appearance on the “Gorilla Position” podcast, WWE United States Champion LA Knight commented on his run as champion, wanting to win the World Title, John Cena’s heel turn, and more.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On his second run as US Champion: “The US Title is not the World Title, I get that. At the same time, to have a title, there are only so many to go around. Some people would say there are too many to go around, and that’s an argument you can make, but when you consider there is a brand split and all that, even though sometimes it gets a little…there is and there isn’t.”

On the split rosters: “There are plenty of people I never see from Raw, ever. Is there a little bleeding from one to the other? Yeah, but at the same time, there are guys I haven’t seen for months. To be one of those ones chosen, I’m going to be running the banner and be the US Champion, World Champion, Tag Team Champion, it is a big vote of confidence, even if it’s for a short time.”

On his goal to become World Champion: “Would I like to be World Champion? You bet your ass. At the same time, that time will come, probably way overdue, probably should already be there or been there, but I can’t worry about that. Who cares. I feel like I’m kicking ass and doing the best I can. I’m doing a hell of a job is what I’m saying. I also think, in the short time this second run has been here, I feel like it’s been made more interesting by the cast of characters who have been attached to it at this point when you look at Braun Strowman or Jacob Fatu or Solo or Tama. All those guys who have been in the mix ever since I (won the title).”

On John Cena’s heel turn: “What an a**hole that guy … who’d have seen it coming right? Especially when you consider it’s the last run, he’s on his way out and I bet he’s probably excited to do it.”
