The Undertaker may have captivated fans when he spoke during his WWE career, but the Hall of Famer would never want to be a commentator.

On a recent edition of his “Six Feet Under” podcast, The Undertaker shared why he’d never be interested in donning the headset full-time. He said,

“There is absolutely zero chance I would have ever went on commentary. They’ve got it the absolute worst. Funny thing is, though, what people don’t realize, there were two really good places to watch the show from: either at Gorilla position next to Vince [McMahon] or go to the truck and listen to Kevin Dunn communicate to his people.”

Several wrestlers took to commentary after their in-ring careers, including Gorilla Monsoon, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, and John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield.

Mick Foley joined WWE’s commentary team in 2008, but left that same year, unhappy with being yelled at on the headset by Vince McMahon.

Despite being a legend of the ring, Foley was paid a much lower salary than usual as a commentator, with the reason given that he was a novice.
