Two TNA Wrestling stars made a special appearance in the 25-man battle royal to determine who will face Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at WWE Battleground 2025 in Tampa, FL.
Zachary Wentz (formerly Nash Carter) reignited his feud with Wes Lee until he was eliminated by Ethan Page.
Before the match got started, a few familiar guitar chords were strung and TNA’s Elijah also joined the fray. “Welcome home” chants broke out along with the question “Who wants to walk with Elijah?”
Elijah, formerly Elias Samson in WWE, was part of the NXT roster from April 2014 to March 2017 before being called up to the main roster after coming up short in a Loser Leaves NXT match against Kassius Ohno and making a few subsequent appearances as El Vagabundo.

Despite the warm response for his homecoming, he was not able to win the battle royal, as Myles Borne came out on top instead in a shocking surprise, last eliminating Ethan Page and Shawn Spears at the same time (who had just taken care of Je’Von Evans)
This is the No Quarter Catch Crew member’s first shot at the title and a huge step up for his career.
