During a recent appearance on the “Women’s Wrestling Talk” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley discussed the recent attack on Jade Cargill on WWE SmackDown.
D-Von speculated that it wouldn’t surprise him if Bayley was responsible for the attack.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On who attacked Jade Cargill: “I wouldn’t be surprised if maybe it was Bayley. You never know. Listen, don’t think Bayley is not above becoming a heel and doing heelish things to people. We’ve all seen it in the past, we’ve all seen things in the past where Bayley has come out mean and vicious.”
On how time will tell: “Who’s to say that she didn’t want to try and get that spot? We’ll see what happens. Again, storyline time will tell and we’ll have to go from there.”
During a recent appearance on the “Wrestling Life” podcast, D-Von Dudley discussed a potential return to the ring.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On returning to the ring: “Here’s what I’m gonna tell you. Every time you do one match, you say one more match, and then the fans are going, ‘One more match,’ after that. They’re not gonna stop until you’re in the grave [laughs]. But I don’t know. I’m not gonna say never. There are some talks about things happening, whether it’s here in the states or even over abroad in Japan. It’s just talks, that’s it. Nothing is being etched in stone or anything like that.”
On there being talks about him returning to the ring: “I’m going on record and saying, don’t say that there’s another match coming up somewhere. I’m saying that there were rumblings and talks about it. I want to go public also because there are still rumblings about me and Bubba being at odds with each other, and we’re not. Bubba and I are perfectly fine. Stop the freaking rumors. Shut the hell up. Bubba and I are fine.”
On not being at odds with Bubba Ray Dudley/Bully Ray: “There’s no arguments, there’s no nothing, okay. We have like a brother relationship where we will beat the hell out of each other, but don’t let you come in and try to beat the hell out of us. We can say whatever we want about each other, but you better not. Bubba and I are fine, we don’t have a bad relationship, we never have, and never will. The Dudley Boyz will go on for as long as we possibly want.”
During a recent edition of the “Busted Open After Dark” podcast, ECW legend Tommy Dreamer predicted that Finn Balor would not only be defeated at Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend, but he and JD McDonagh would also lose the World Tag Team Titles on Monday Night RAW next week.
Dreamer said, “If I could use my little crystal ball here, I would say that Finn Balor is not winning [at] Saturday Night’s Main Event. I will say then he will have another bad night on Monday and [Balor and JD McDonagh] will lose the tag team titles, and we’ll have new tag team champions — a bunch of vikings.”
