Next week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW takes place on May 26, 2025 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
On top of the fallout from whatever transpires at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event and WWE NXT Battleground that weekend, two matches have been confirmed to take place, as well as some other lingering announcements.
Akira Tozawa had requested a match against Rusev last week, but Raw General Manager Adam Pearce denied it as he wasn’t medically cleared to compete. Now that he’s been given the go-ahead from medical, Pearce has booked the match.
Another match that had been set up, but was pushed off until next week, is the Triple Threat match for the WWE World Tag Team Championship. The New Day will defend against both The War Raiders and The Creed Brothers.
WWE also announced that more Money in the Bank qualifying matches will take place, specifically calling out that the men’s division will start to get a chance to earn their spots, but notably didn’t bother to actually clarify a single person competing in those matches. We can assume Chad Gable will be one of them, after requesting it this week, but Ivy Nile also was there for that, too, and there will be at least one more woman from Raw to earn her spot, too. WWE only has the next two episodes of Raw to settle all remaining people, so most likely, look out for two men’s matches to take place.
To recap, here’s the lineup as far as what’s been announced:
- Akira Tozawa vs. Rusev
- Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. American Made’s Creed Brothers (Brutus Creed & Julius Creed) vs. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar)
- More Money in the Bank qualifying matches.
