Jey Uso’s ‘Yeet’ has proven immensely popular with fans, but Vince Russo is ready to see much more from the Monday Night RAW Superstar.
At the 2025 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event, Jey stunned fans by winning the men’s match, last eliminating John Cena in the process.
On a recent edition of his “Legion of RAW” podcast, Russo argued that it is time for fans to see more from Jey on the mic than just one word. He said,
“He’s riding the ‘Yeet’ now. He’s got to up his game. Listen man, he’s been around long enough, wrestling is in his bloodline, his dad did this. I’m sure he’s gonna be able to. It’s gonna come to the point where he’s gonna have to up his game on the mic. He’s never really had to up to this point because he’s kinda ‘Yeeted’ his way to being really, really over. If this dude’s gonna be the champ, he’s gotta up his game.”
On this week’s episode of WWE RAW, Jey received an ovation from the Cleveland crowd and had a face-to-face with World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER.
Jey Uso will appear on this week’s SmackDown where he will address the possibility of facing Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41.
