During the June 20, episode of WWE SmackDown, John Cena cut a ‘pipebomb’ promo on CM Punk, close to 14 years after Punk’s infamous promo on Cena.
On Twitter, former WWE writer Vince Russo had plenty of praise for the recent segment featuring the 17-time WWE World Champion.

Cena and CM Punk will battle at WWE Night of Champions for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the pair’s first singles match in over 12 years.
In this feud, Cena has accused Punk of being a hypocrite due to Punk appearing at Night of Champions despite his past criticism of WWE’s Saudi Arabia deal.
