Former WWE writer Vince Russo was no fan of a certain logic-shattering segment during this week’s historic debut episode of RAW on Netflix.
During the show, The Rock shared his appreciation and respect for Cody Rhodes, despite the pair being at odds for much of 2024.
On a recent edition of his “BroDown” podcast, Russo questioned why The Rock would be so gracious to the man he beat bloody less than a year ago. He said,
“The last time we saw you two together, you were beating Cody up with his own tour truck. Now you’re putting him over, come on bro. There’s no logic to these things. Logic is out the window.
“But here’s the best part, Mac. So then not only does Rock drink and drive, but he leaves his kids in the building. He leaves his kids there and drink. He’s drinking a bottle of tequila and take it off. Who’s bringing the kids home?”
On this week’s episode of WWE NXT, The Rock said he was 20 steps ahead of everyone else and suggested that his feud with Rhodes may not be over yet.
It has been reported that WWE is no longer planning on hosting Rhodes vs. The Rock at WrestleMania 41 this April in Allegiant Stadium.
