Former WWE Superstar Vix Crow (Alicia Fox) will be facing off against Jordynne Grace at Title Match Network’s Ladies Night Out 14 event, which takes place on December 1st.
During a recent appearance on the “Going Ringside” podcast, Crow discussed her return to in-ring action. She said,
“So, I have this match, December 1st against Jordynne Grace. She’s a new up-and-coming generation superstar. During the pandemic, I watched a lot of TNA, I watched a lot of wrestling. Seeing Jordynne Grace have that young baby face and then seeing her develop into a superstar. I mean, she’s made so many appearances on WWE. We talked about this a few months ago, there’s a lot of logistics that go on and then scheduling and then, you know, if someone’s going to the moon, you don’t want to just pause that.”
As we previously reported here on eWn, Zack Sabre Jr. successfully defended the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at NJPW Royal Quest on Sunday. He defeated SANADA at the show.
After the match, Zack Sabre Jr. told the crowd that he’s “just getting started.” He said,
“We’re home. [Crowd chants ‘You deserve it.’] No, no, no. Professional wrestling owes me nothing, but it has given me everything, and I will continue to be a professional wrestler until the day I die. This [title] has been my dream since I was 13 years old. I didn’t know it would quite take me this long. But 66 to 24, that’s a bigger gap, so I’ll take 20 years and a bit of change. I was the first British G1 Climax winner. I’m not the first British IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, but I am the first to bring the bloody thing home. In the lead-up to this lifelong aim of mine to win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, all my conversations were about how much it was always my dream to reach the top of Japanese wrestling. That doesn’t exist without me being a British wrestler, and it doesn’t exist without all of you supporting me for over two decades. But this is not a lifetime achievement award. I am just getting f**king started. My three goals for this year, G1 Climax, smashed it. IWGP World Heavyweight, done that one as well. Next is Tokyo Dome main event. I’m going to do what no foreign wrestler has done in the history of Wrestle Kingdom, win the f**king thing.”
