WWE Changes Schedule For Summer Live Events

Since Triple H was appointed the Chief Content Officer, WWE has experienced significant growth in its business operations, with increased television ratings, booming merchandise and ticket sales.

The recent success coincides with the resurgence of WWE’s popularity, driven by intriguing storylines and spectacular matches.

WWE’s revenue stream has become increasingly reliant on media rights fees, with substantial deals for television shows and pay-per-view events being the primary source of income. Additionally, WWE has reduced its reliance on live events, which previously constituted a significant portion of its earnings.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE has notably trimmed down its schedule for this summer, reducing both the main roster and NXT live events.

The company’s touring schedule reveals a limited number of live events. The main roster features five shows in Mexico and Japan, while NXT hosts only two live events in July. The main roster is scheduled for seven events in August, including shows in Florida and Germany.
